Junior Coaching
Coaching for beginners through to junior competition level
Learning through Enjoyment!
The Cooper Park Tennis program provides children the opportunity to develop essential gross motor skills through an enjoyable, positive, caring and safe learning environment. The program is a Tennis Australia initiative to promote tennis and to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.
Children classes
Our Children classes offer an environment where your child will develop listening skills and how to participate in group activities. An environment where your child will make friends with other boys and girls in an active and fun way.
Development through progression
We use the Tennis Australia system of graduating children through the use of red, green and yellow balls based on their age and individual ability. Our expertise in sports science allows us to develop a range of fundamental specialised motor skills that is suited to their tennis development. These include for gross motor skills modified tennis nets and court and a range of additional multi sport activities such as badminton. Fine motor skills are further enhanced through the inclusion of non tennis related motor skill activities such as Bocce, Finska and Rope Quoits which are offered at appropriate stages throughout their development.
